The Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware (UUCDC) is a Welcoming Congregation that seeks to celebrate and support the lives, the relationships, and contributions of its lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and heterosexual members and friends. We affirm and promote full participation of everyone in the life of our congregation and our community.
Our congregation's Welcoming Congregation Resolution was voted on and accepted on April 21, 2002.
Interweave at UUCDC
UUCDC's Interweave: LGBTQ & Friends group is dedicated to the spiritual, political, and social well-being of Unitarian Universalists and others in our larger community who are confronting oppression as lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender persons and their heterosexual allies. Interweave celebrates the culture and lives of all of its members and its friends. We invite your participation at our Interweave Committee's meetings, first Sundays monthly at noon (BYO Lunch), where we plan social gatherings, small service projects and support one another in the continuation of our spiritual growth. Interweave is for everyone and we welcome your curiosity, your creativity, and your company. Working together we can accomplish great things. The UUCDC Y.U.C.K.I.s
The YUCKIs (Young Unitarians Combining Knowledge and Interest) are the high school-age members of UUCDC who are open to making new friends. Everyone is welcome in their group. They meet at 6 pm every Sunday Evening in the Youth Lounge.

Our church members and friends hail from all over Delaware County, Pennsylvania (PA), as well as the counties of West Chester, Montgomery and Philadelphia. Some come from Delaware (DE) and New Jersey (NJ).
