Leadership Opportunities!

There are always opportunities for leadership within the UUCDC church community. If you would like to get more involved, please communicate your interest to the contact person listed. If you see a ? then that group is currently seeking leadership. You may contact the our ministers, our board president or our church office, if you would like to consider filling one of these vacancies. Welcome aboard!

Volunteers are needed in all areas of church activity. If you see something you would like to participate in, just contact the person listed above.

If you are not sure where you would like to put your talents or interests to work, contact Rina, the church administrator, and she may be able to help you - or you may be able to help her!

About Membership in UUCDC

How to Post or Announce Something!

Written Announcements for the Sunday Order of Service may be placed in the Church Administrator's mailbox or they may be submitted via assistant@uucdc.org (email, Order of Service Announcements). They must be submitted to the church Administrative Assistant by 9:00 A.M. the preceding Thursday (unless the deadline is moved forward due to a holiday).

At that time, you may request the opportunity to make a Verbal Announcement at the end of the worship service. Please limit the verbal announcement to the speaker's name, the activity, its time and place and be present with handouts after the service to answer questions and give information. Verbal announcements NOT PRINTED in the order of service are NOT PERMITTED in the worship service.

Announcements and written pieces for the Church Newsletter, the FOCUS, may be placed in the Church Administrator's mailbox or they may be may be submitted via E-mail to Focus@uucdc.org (Focus editor, Focus submission) by the second Sunday of the month prior to publication. Simple unformatted text, submitted via E-mail or on a disk is preferable.

Need to calendar your group's meeting or event? All calendar items must go through the main church calendar. Please contact the churchoffice@uucdc.org (church administrator, Calendar) to reserve your space in the calendar.

Updates and Corrections for the Church Website may be sent to the webmeister@uucdc.org (webmaster, Website Corrections). Please allow at least a week for general updates and two weeks for major updates.
