UUCDC Hosting District Racial Justice Meeting The Joseph Priestley District Racial Justice Conference is designed to raise awareness about racism and promote transformational, spiritual growth with the aim of building a denomination that is truly welcoming, multi-racial and multi-cultural. As hosts, we need a large number of members and friends to take on many tasks, including organizing spaces, meals, and in some cases housing attendees. Our local on-site coordination team is a critical element in the conduct of this conference and we want to do everything we can to make it a success. Please contact Kelli Schweitzer or Don PoundDon Pound to sign up. We will supply the conference agenda and information on jobs to be filled in future FOCUS and Digest articles. But we need to start organizing our efforts now to assure that UUCDC gives its guests the best experience possible. |

Got Stuff? (Fall Flea Market) If you've got stuff (and who doesn't), the Fall Flea Market is for you. Don’t miss this great opportunity to share all those unused treasures with interested buyers. So clean out that garage, tidy up the attic. But we are going to need your help to make this a success. If you have some ideas and experience in flea markets, contact Kelli Schweitzer or Irene Friedrichs or see us at church. Fifty per cent of the proceeds will go to the NAACP Scholarship Fund and the remaining half to our general operating budget. Let's have some fun together on a beautiful fall day. |

DIRECTIONS TO THE CHURCH
UUCDC is the home for many church and community activities and events. The above events come with a general invitation for everyone’s participation and are highlighted for your convenience.
Please check the church calendar for a more detailed list of what is happening in our church community. We invite you to join us - bring a friend!
To determine when UUCDC facilities might be available in the future, refer to the church calendar. Or you can contact our church administrator to book a space.
Special Events Coordinator
When you reserve the sanctuary for a private wedding, union ceremony, memorial service or other special event, you will be contacted by Marge Caton, UUCDC's UUCDC Special Events Coordinator. She will assist you coordinating details and answering any questions you may have about the use of our space. In addition, she will be present in the building during your events to assist you with the use of our church facilities, including set up and making sure that all areas are returned to their original condition after the event ends.

Our church members and friends hail from all over Delaware County, Pennsylvania (PA), as well as the counties of West Chester, Montgomery and Philadelphia. Some come from Delaware (DE) and New Jersey (NJ).
