Sunday School Pre-K to Grade 7
Sunday School Pre-K - Grade 7
Sunday School is offered from 9:30 - 10:45 am. We begin in the sanctuary with community worship. Then, children go to age-leveled classes.
Large Group Sessions: Once a month, we have special thematic RE sessions. Our preschool-first graders have Curiosity Club during which they hear a story and then engage with the theme through play, music, crafts, and/or service. Our second-fifth graders have a similar monthly session called Soul Matters Jr. These happen on Sunday morning during the regular RE time.
Our church school year runs mid-September to mid-May. During the late spring/summer, children ages 5 and under are welcome in the nursery room. Parents may always bring children to the service. We have a rocking chair in back for you to use and also kid's activity packs in baskets near the sanctuary door to help keep little ones amused. Check the home page calendar for correct service times.

In the spring, our kindergarten and first graders will switch to the Our Whole Lives program.
Grades 2 and 3 – "Faithful Journeys"
Our second and third graders will be take a journey through UU faith history. Using the principles as a guide, these classes will focus on UU values and identity.
Grades 4 and 5 – "Bible Stories" (September - March) "Our Whole Lives" (March - May)
Our older elementary grades will look at stories from the Old and New Testaments to consider what meaning they make from this UU source. This class will learn about Jesus in both historical and religious context.
