Spiritual Exploration

"Roots hold me close...   Wings set me free..." (Hymn #123, Spirit of Life by Carolyn McDade)

Spiritual Exploration For All Ages

Strengthening Unitarian Universalist identity, engaging in social action, and using our UU Principles as a guide to help us make important life choices is the focus of our Spirtual Exploration Program. In both children and youth classes/meetings, participants engage in open-minded conversations with the goal of learning to respect and to accept others' opinions when they differ from their own.

The success of the UUCDC Spiritual Exploration program depends on a reliable group of enthusiastic volunteers who form lasting relationships with participants of all ages.  Leaders, advisors, facilitators, teachers, and assistants are parents, non-parents, church members, and friends. All members, guests, and visitors to UUCDC are encouraged to be involved in the Spiritual Exploration program as students, participants, teachers and facilitators.

Our Adult Spiritual Exploration program is full of life. Join your fellow UUs in a spiritual practice or an in-depth discussion in courses such as UU 101, a variety of classes, Yoga, and Book Club. It is hoped that all adults deepen their spirits with life-long learning opportunities through Adult Spiritual Exploration courses. Learn more about our current adult course offerings.

Whether you are a parent or guardian of a child or youth in the program or not, please take a moment to fill out the Spiritual Exploration Registration Form.  For convenient payment for SE registration, click here and use the Registration line on the form.
