Rose Tree Day School

In existence since 1979, the Rose Tree Day School, located in the lower level of the church, offers a morning and full day pre-school program to children 2 to 6 years old. The staff provides a loving, stimulating and healthy environment for all children, including those with special needs, at a low cost. The school is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:45 PM with a full-year program available. The Day School is licensed by the Department of Public Welfare for the State of Pennsylvania, and falls under our 501(c)3 status as a non-profit organization. It is also accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

In the Day School the Purposes and Principles of UUCDC are an integral part of the curriculum. Children are taught to respect one another as well as people of different races, creeds, etc. They learn to appreciate and protect our planet. Children are involved in projects that encourage them to value peace, liberty and justice for all people and to respect the democratic process.
