Quilters

Connecting Threads - UUCDC's Quilt Group

It is time to get quilting again - we need to make 10 quilts!

UUCDC Quilters make full size quilts for our graduating seniors and baby quilts for our newest members which are given to the families at the child dedication service. We want and need your help! This is a fun, social, fulfilling and educational activity open to all! We need people who are willing to iron, cut, and sew straight lines. We have most of the needed equipment, we just need labor. Most of this work can be done by people with limited or no experience with quilting because we have several Master Quilters who guide us along every step. Questions? You don’t have to know anything about sewing or quilting to join us - REALLY! We need cutters and ironers and lots of people to do all sorts of things. We turn Chris's house into a little factory for a couple of hours and have a lot of fun and laughs while we make these incredible quilts for the graduating seniors. These quilts mean a lot to our YUUCKIs and their families!

Please join us as often as possible - we have a gigantic task ahead of us and really need your help!
