Stewardship Ministry Team - Stuart Greenberg
Our team handles the "nuts and bolts'" of the church. Its formal aim is to effectively and cooperatively promote, preserve and enhance church resources. Therefore, it handles issues related to church finances and financial planning, personnel, endowments and fund drives, building and grounds maintenance, and care and management of the Memorial Garden.
Finance - Lois Morrigan
Assists the Board and Lay Leadership Council with the budget. Records receipts and disburses money for the church, keeps the financial records, prepares periodic bills for pledges, and checks for accounts payable.
Depositing Treasurer - John Jurceka
Co-Depositing Treasurer - Vacant
Handles receipts and deposits of church funds.
Endowment - Stan Karasick
Team oversees current investments, bequests and future disbursement of these funds.
Annual Fund Drive Team - Neil Goldstein
2013/2014 Fund Drive Chair
Plans and coordinates the annual revenue generating pledge drive.
Property - Paul Schlenker
Responsible for maintaining the church building and the grounds around it. Uses, to the greatest extent possible, the abilities and knowledge of members and friends. Help is frequently needed and always deeply appreciated.
Memorial Garden Work Committee - Lois Morrigan
Memorial Garden Work Committee has a mission to maintain the Memorial Garden next to the church that was created for interring or memorializing members and friends of UUCDC. It also serves as a quiet place for contemplation and meditation. Contact Lois if you are interested in purchasing Memorial plaques or if you would like to help out with work parties.
Memorial Tree on Church Grounds - Charlie Pell
Would you like to honor a loved one by planting a tree on the church grounds? If so, UUCDC has a program for you, the memorial tree program.
Personnel - Paul Schlenker
Develops contracts and job descriptions for paid staff as well as monitor the status of our staff related to the UUA Fair Compensation recommendations and general well being.
