Feel the Music!
The UUCDC Chorus - Bob Rowland
Do you like to sing? The UUCDC Chorus rehearses weekly on Thursday nights from 7:30 – 9:00 pm and sings at about two church services a month. Twice a year, the chorus presents a Special Music Service. Singers of high school age or older are welcome to participate in chorus. If you would like more information, please contact the church office and explore our Music in our Services page.
Children's Chorus - Sarah McKay
The Children’s Chorus had their first performance at the November 2012 Multigenerational service singing “Thanksgiving Day” by Tom Chapin. Great job kids!
Volunteer Musicians for Worship - Jean Lenke
Church vocal and instrumental musicians are needed for worship and childrenʼs chapel from mid-October to mid-June. Services are at 9:15 am & 11:15 am. Generally, musicians are asked to play at both morning services. We also need musicians for the single summer 10 am service. Please complete the online Musician Registration or the PDF form and return to the church office.
Committee for Music Ministry - Ann Seidman
The Committee on Music Ministry acts as a sounding board for each other’s programming ideas and will serve as a conduit between the musicians of the church and the congregation to ensure that the music presented resonates with the congregation on multiple levels. The Committee joins with the Music Director and Minister to shape and carry out the mission of the music ministry. The Committee collaborates with and supports the Music Director in arranging music for all Worship Services and will have primary responsibility for scheduling and recruiting musicians when the chorus is not singing.
