  • We are a congregation dedicated to the UU principle, which affirms the inherent worth, and dignity of every person.
  • We are a congregation that believes in the goal of a world community with peace, liberty and justice for all.
  • We commit ourselves not only to celebrating our religious values, but to putting them into practice as well.

One of the ways members of UUCDC do this is through our Social Justice & Community Outreach programming. There are numerous ways for individuals who want to work for social justice to get involved. We encourage you to explore opportunities with us and consider how you might work to make a difference in the world in which we live.

Participation in these activities is not limited to church members. All are welcome.

Media Depression and Bipolar Support

60 million Americans suffer from a mental Illness at any given time.(1 in 5 with a population of 300 million) They and their families need a greater understanding of how these illnesses affect their lives. And we all need support from people who have been there and who understand our journey. After proper diagnosis and treatment, the support from others is vital to a lifetime of wellness. The Media Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance is a self help support group whose purpose is to assist people who suffer primarily from depression and bipolar disorder, as well as the loved ones who support them

The group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 7-9 pm in the UUCDC Youth Room.

If you know anyone who suffers from depression or bipolar disorder, or a loved one who supports them, have them contact brennan.mayka@gmail.com (Brennan Mayka, MDBS%20information) at 610-565-3973 or contact the churchoffice@uucdc.org (church office, UUCDC%20MDBS%20information).
